In the twelve-step groups like Alcoholics Anonymous, you’ll hear people say things like, “Hi, my name is Bob and I’m an alcoholic.”  Admitting one’s problem is at the very beginning of recovery.  Everyone associated with forsinnersonly.us would take the same approach.  “Hi, my name is Bill and I’m a sinner.  That’s not said in jest or to make fun of anyone.  It’s a serious statement of what we know to be true.  We’re sinners.  But we’ve found a solution to the problem and we want to share it with you.

ForSinnersOnly.us is an outreach and evangelistic project of Dr. Bill Denton and the Rodenberg Church of Christ in Biloxi, Mississippi.  We are a Christ-Centered, Disciple-Making church dedicated to proclaiming the good news that Jesus Christ saves sinners.

We believe it’s important that our community knows that we’re not a church with a holier-than-thou attitude.  The reason we have good news to share is that every one of us has dealt with the reality that we are sinners.  You’ll find no perfect people at the Rodenberg Church of Christ.  You will find saved people, forgiven people, redeemed people.  Our hope is not in how good we’ve been, but in how good Jesus is, and the great sacrifice he made for us.  His blood sacrifice provides the basis for God’s forgiveness of our sins.  We still struggle with sins, and continually look to Jesus to provide forgiveness and to keep us safely in his care.  We are a redemptive community dedicated to helping other sinners discover the grace and mercy of God.

We hope this web site provides help for sinners everywhere in the world where Internet access exists.  But we’re especially interested in people who live in the Biloxi/Gulfport/D’Iberville, Mississippi community.  We want our web site to serve, perhaps, as an initial contact source.  But we’d really love for that to become a face-to-face and life-to-life connection.  Do you need help to overcome the sins in your life.  Come share the journey of faith in Jesus with us.  You’ll discover a loving, supportive church family who will walk with you away from your sins and into the love of God.
